Dry Canyons verified, full game routed by checkpoints

This walkthrough now has a verified opening route and a full-release progression framework. Use it as a hub: the page tells you what to clear, when to detour for Health Ores or weapons, and which endgame goals should wait until your build is stable.

Hands-on notes:Route notes cover the Demo path through KIRA, AXE and KASEI.
Full-release hands-on:July 25 full-release verification upgrades the later boss order and key collection detours from pending to usable route guidance.

Dry Canyons Part 1: opening to KIRA

  • Pick up Akai's Greatsword at the start.
  • Use the first four dinosaur enemies to learn block, deflect and a safe punish; two enemies appear close together, then trident and scythe variants follow.
  • After the waterfall and save pillar, learn Charge Attack: hold C, release early for a quick projectile, or fully charge for a heavier hit that costs 5 Resonance.
  • Pick up the soul after the two-enemy/trident section, then use the Instinct Encounter tutorial before KIRA.
  • After KIRA, learn the Summoning Skill with key 4, pick the Red Soul, enter the waterfall route and spend Boss SP / unlock Soul Arts.

Dry Canyons Part 2: AXE route

  • From the KIRA save point, jump down and clear the next enemies.
  • Use the waterfall drop and save before the hammer dinosaur; its three-swing sequence creates the clearest opening.
  • At the lower save point, move up the slope to the red-glint tutorial. Red-glint attacks cannot simply be blocked; treat them as deflect tests unless you are deliberately disengaging.
  • Fight AXE with space in front of you. Its slower axe pressure punishes rushing more than hesitation.
  • After AXE, collect the Red Soul and Boss SP before continuing.

Dry Canyons Part 3: KASEI route

  • Past the save point, check behind the rock wall for a soul before committing to the fork.
  • Take the left side for the hammer enemy, then return toward the right-side route.
  • Break the red crystal for Heal Ore +1, raising the recorded heal count to 4.
  • Clear the final group of three enemies, then save before KASEI.
  • KASEI changes from Ankylosaurid Club pressure to Giant Cleaver pressure around the final third of health. Use the QTE transition, save Resonance for Phase 2, and look for the cleaver throw follow-up as one of the safer punish windows.
  • After KASEI, collect the Red Soul, 3 Boss SP and the weapon past the breakable rock; the Demo ends shortly after.
