Enter with a plan for stamina, not a plan to spend the whole bar.
Watch one complete attack sequence before committing to a long punish.
Move the fight away from arena walls when the camera starts compressing your view.
Change one variable after a loss: positioning, attack count, defensive choice or attribute allocation.
Use Soul Arts and Boss SP abilities only after you understand their current mana/cooldown behavior.
